In 1961, with the approval of the voters in the county the Tulsa City-County Library system was established. The Broken Arrow Library then became part of this organization. In late 1963, the library moved from the city hall into a new building designed by Bob Hale, at 121 East College. The library remained in this location until 1985. Shown here, former library director Pat Woodrum and others cut the ribbon at the grand opening in January 1985.
