The Posey Creek bridge on Yale Avenue reopened in February 1986 following a closure of 4.5 years. The original bridge collapsed in 1981, and no work occurred at the site until February 1984, when construction began on the new bridge. The bridge essentially was a monument in the south Tulsa County pastures until work began on the approaches and creek diversion in August 1985. Photograph taken March 1, 1986.
