Subject	Tulsa (Okla.) -- History; Road Construction
Description	Decking is under way on the westbound I-44 bridge over Garnett Road as shown in this view looking southeast. The original eastbound bridge is visible behind the new bridge. Construction also is under way on widening Garnett Road to five lanes at the I-44 interchange. Paving is progressing on the westbound lanes of I-44, and a traffic switchover likely will occur late this year or in early 1992. Photograph taken September 2, 1991.
