The westbound I-44 bridges over 21st Street and Mingo Creek are open, and crews are removing the old eastbound bridges and temporary bridges in preparation for building the new eastbound bridges. This view, looking west on 21st Street, shows that the temporary bridge has been removed except for the abutment walls, which will be removed soon. Traffic is two way on the eastbound lanes as crews are removing the temporary passing lane and repairing the street where the temporary bridge pier was located. Photograph taken December 2, 1989.
