The I-44 interchange with the Broken Arrow Expressway will be reconstructed as part of the I-44 widening project through Tulsa. This view, looking west, shows I-44 passing under the Broken Arrow Expressway. The bridges received a high-density concrete overlay in 1980 as part of a project to redeck 10 bridges on I-44 in the area. The other bridges widened and redecked (from the girders up) were at Memorial Drive, 31st Street, the MKT Railroad and Sheridan Road, with two bridges at each location.
