Memorial Drive will be widened and reconstructed at the Broken Arrow Expressway when the expressway is widened through the area. U.S. 64 presently exits the expressway at Memorial Drive and follows the street into Bixby and then turns east/southeast to Muskogee and beyond. The signal on the right once was a four-headed signal that had a right-turn arrow that would come on when the light was green for the exit ramp. This was possible because the exit ramp's signals had green arrows for left- and right-turns, indicating that no one could go straight. When the "straight-right" green arrow configuration was deleted at most Tulsa intersections in 1979 and 1980, the configuration became what it is today (solid green lights with no arrows). This photograph was taken August 20, 1987.
