The southern portion of the Inner Dispersal Loop's east leg (U.S. 75) opened in 1981 when the Southeast Interchange and Broken Arrow Expressway were completed. This view, looking south from the northbound U.S. 75 exit ramp to Seventh Street, shows the southbound approach to the Southeast Interchange as two sets of lanes. The two right lanes are from the Eighth Street entrance ramp and offer motorists the option of going east or west on the Broken Arrow Expressway, while the two left lanes are U.S. 75 and offer the same option, with U.S. 75 using the right lane to follow the expressway west to I-244 .The east leg crosses 11th Street near the first sign gantry, and the former 11th Street Midland Valley Railroad underpass (long gone when this This photograph was was taken) was located just to the right of the expressway. The bridge in the foreground carries U.S. 75 over the Eighth Street entrance ramp for traffic wanting to travel north on U.S. 75. This photograph was taken July 13, 1987.
