This view, looking east from Main Street, shows the Broken Arrow Expressway and the Southeast Interchange of the Inner Dispersal Loop. Excluding the city street bridges, all roadways shown were opened at different times in 1981. The bridge in the foreground is a utility bridge, followed by Boston and Cincinnati avenues. In the background is the Southeast Interchange of the Inner Dispersal Loop and, above the interchange, exit signs on the Broken Arrow Expressway for Utica and Lewis avenues. Lighting is under way on the expressway, including foundations for tall light standards in the interchange. One foundation (a white dot that rises) can be seen on the hill above the north (left) end of the Cincinnati Avenue bridge. This photograph was taken November 20, 1982.
