A large fountain of water from a broken water main sprays into the air adjacent to Asbury United Methodist Church. The water doused the church's front lawn and building before flowing north on Sheridan Road to the newly-constructed storm sewers. The water volume was great enough that it didn't disappear from the street until the second storm sewer opening. The "fountain" was visible for quite a distance on Sheridan Road. This photograph was taken June 4, 1988.
