Utility work has been completed on Sheridan Road near the Little Joe Creek bridge, and traffic flow has returned to normal in the area. The two-lane road has scattered shoulders, some of which are deteriorated as shown in this view looking south near 53rd Street. The Little Joe Creek bridge railing can be seen adjacent to the small rectangular sign on the east side of Sheridan Road. According to reports, a construction contract is scheduled to be awarded this summer for the Sheridan project. This photograph was taken June 11, 1987.
