Paving essentially is complete on Yale Avenue as shown in this view looking south at 61st Street. Traffic is light on the street due to its closure between 66th and 71st streets for the 71st Street and Yale Avenue project. The old left-turn medians remain, but these soon will be replaced with medians to accommodate the dual left-turn lanes. Northbound traffic will have a right-turn lane, but southbound traffic's third lane will extend to just south of Warren Place, right, and become a turn lane into that facility. Eventually, this lane will be extended south as Yale Avenue is widened to six lanes in south Tulsa. No additional widening projects are funded at this time.
