Paving is nearing completion on the southbound lanes of Sheridan Road, as only two gaps remain to be paved. One gap is at 62nd Street, which can be seen near the bottom of the hill, and the second is the northwest portion of the 61st Street intersection, which is behind the barricades in the distance. The concrete pavement extends north on Sheridan Road to beyond 60th Street before the street narrows to two lanes. Dirt work is continuing on the eastbound lanes of the east approach.
