The 61st Street widening project between Harvard and Sandusky avenues is complete. Looking west from Urbana Avenue, the new street begins with a short concrete section that connects the 61st Street and Yale Avenue project segment to the segment from Harvard to Sandusky avenues, which begins where the asphalt pavement starts. The Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church's new retaining wall is visible on the left, as are the retaining walls near Pittsburgh Avenue. This photograph was taken March 3, 1990.
