Dirt work is progressing on rebuilding the hills on 61st Street between Pittsburgh and Richmond avenues. The former "dip" has been leveled out, and construction is beginning on a retaining wall for the north side of 61st Street. Progress also is being made on the concrete retaining wall in front of Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church. A temporary traffic signal has been installed at 61st Street and Harvard Avenue. This photograph was taken April 7, 1989.
