Work on removing trees along 81st Street, east of Harvard Avenue, is progressing. However, the project has been put on ice, so to speak, as freezing drizzle is falling in Tulsa. Ice has accumulated on the trees and traffic signals, as evidenced by the icicles hanging from the signals and the "white" area on top of the trees. At the time of this This photograph was , the temperature was in the upper 20s, but the roads still were wet. The roads likely will freeze overnight before thawing out Sunday.
