Traffic is light on Yale Avenue at Apache Street, but part of that is due to the fact that Yale Avenue is closed north of the Gilcrease Expressway, making the road north of Apache Street a dead-end, as the Gilcrease Expressway also isn't open. The Apache Street and Yale Avenue intersection was completed about a week ago. The project included widening the intersection to four lanes on Yale Avenue and left- and right-turn lanes on each approach. A short section south of Apache Street was widened to five lanes.
