Workmen use cutting torches to severreinforcing rods holding part of the bridge railing on the eastbound Broken Arrow Expressway bridge over Harvard Avenue. Sparks from the cutting torches can be seen as little white specks against the steel girder and pier. Cables attached to the crane are holding the piece of concrete to keep it from falling after the reinforcing rods are cut. When the cutting is complete, the piece of concrete will be lowered to the ground. This photograph was taken August 12, 1987.
