The 21st Street bridge over Mingo Creek has carried its last vehicle, as demolition has begun. The western span of the bridge is gone, as is the west retaining wall, and the remaining two spans should be demolished within a couple of weeks. Work has slowed between the bridge and Memorial Drive, although eastbound lanes at Memorial Drive have been graded. Photograph taken June 29, 1984.
