The Broken Arrow Expressway bridges over Harvard Avenue will have a new look besides new decks when they are complete. An extra column has been added to each set of piers, which indicates that the bridges will be wider following completion of the project. The tops of the pier caps also have been rebuilt to allow for readjustment of the small slope to the outside to improve drainage.New steel girders, which can be seen on the west side of Harvard Avenue, soon will be erected on the westbound bridge. Harvard Avenue traffic now is one lane each way on the northbound lanes. This photograph was taken June 15, 1987.
