Subject	Tulsa (Okla.) -- History; Memorial Drive; Construction
Description	Memorial Drive opened earlier this week between 71st and 91st streets, and motorists now have four lanes through the 91st Street intersection. The new roadway includes wide medians that can be reduced in the future to allow a third lane in each direction (total six). Later this year, construction is expected to begin on widening the section between 92nd and 116th streets to four lanes. Plans call for the roadway to eventually be widened to 151st Street (S.H. 67) in Bixby. Photograph taken January 28, 1984.
