The future traffic signals have been installed at 15th Street and Yale Avenue for each direction except northbound, but work will not begin at this intersection until the 21st Street intersection is completed later this summer. This intersection will be widened for left-turn lanes on each approach and a right-turn lane for eastbound traffic. The present design is four lanes on each approach, with left turns banned on Yale Avenue during peak hours. Photograph taken April 24, 1982.
