Crews are removing the deck from the eastbound lanes of the old I-44 Arkansas River bridge. The girders are visible on a few spans, and reinforcing rods remain on several others. The intact span in the foreground is over Riverside Drive. Work on the westbound lanes has involved removing the bridge railings, which can be seen broken up along the edge.
