Work is progressing on building the wooden box structure for the new 21st Street bridge ramp. The wooden base has been installed on part of the ramp, and the remaining brace posts still need to be installed on the left portion of the ramp. The concrete wall on Riverside Drive (center right) will be part of the ramp's approach to Riverside. Traffic soon will be detoured to the southbound lanes of Riverside Drive, which will allow reconstruction of the rough northbound lanes. Photograph taken October 6, 1984.
