The 23rd Street railroad bridge is complete, and a temporary asphalt approach has been installed at the bridge's east end to allow access to the city's maintenance yard and a concrete plant while the 21st Street bridge, just east of here, is reconstructed. The 23rd Street railroad bridge will remain closed until the 21st Street bridge over the Arkansas River closes for its project, at which time the railroad bridge will open.
