Subject	Tulsa (Okla.) -- History; Arkansas River
Description	Heavy rains along the Arkansas and Cimarron rivers upstream of Lake Keystone forced the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to release more water into the Arkansas River, which has raised the river's level in Tulsa. The cofferdams remain intact, but the water level likely will rise before all is said and done. The turbulent areas are caused by the three Pedestrian Bridge piers that remain in the temporary river channel. Photograph taken May 15, 1982.
