Subject	Tulsa (Okla.) -- History; Arkansas River; Bridges; Dams; Pedestrian Bridge
Description	Preliminary construction of a cofferdam (dirt mounds in the distance) is beginning on the Arkansas River at the Pedestrian Bridge. This cofferdam will divert water from the east part of the river to allow construction of the low water dam. The main dam will be built just south of the Pedestrian Bridge. Photograph taken November 15, 1981.
