Subject	Arkansas River; Tulsa (Okla.) -- History; Bridges
Description	A bitter cold spell has frozen Tulsa, including the Arkansas River, which is nearly iced over in this view looking north from the I-44 bridge. The temperature, about 10 degrees when this picture was taken, has been well below freezing for nearly a week, and wamer weather is not forecast to return until sometime next week. A huge steam plume can be seen the PSO plant near 31st Street. Photograph taken December 25, 1983.
