Subject	Arkansas River; Tulsa (Okla.) -- History; Bridges
Description	The Arkansas River as seen from the complete, but not yet open, eastbound I-44 Arkansas River bridge. The unopened 71st Street bridge can be seen in the distance. The cluster of trees in the middle of the river is an island that, except during periods of very low flow, is surrounded by water. Photograph taken September 10, 1983.
