In mid December, paving was under way on portions of the 71st Street and Yale Avenue intersection - notably the eastbound portion of the intersection itself and a small portion of northeast quadrant. However, construction has been put on ice, so to speak, following a major Arctic cold front that invaded the Tulsa area before Christmas and brought sub-freezing temperatures and snow to the city.
