The view looking east from Evanston Avenue shows large concrete retaining walls in place of the rock slopes that once lined the street in this area. Pine trees have been planted along the retaining walls, and trees have been planted in the medians. The Harvard Avenue intersection is visible at the bottom of the hill, with the Yale Avene intersection visible at the top of the distant hill. This photograph was taken August 3, 2003.
