The Skelly Drive (I-44) and Peoria Avenue intersection, like other I-44 intersections in Tulsa, has it share of traffic congestion issues. The intersection consists of four lanes on Peoria Avenue with left-turn lanes at the respective frontage roads. The frontage roads are three lanes before Peoria Avenue but narrow to two lanes beyond it, depending on which way one travels. The I-44 bridge is a single bridge with four lanes of traffic, and the railing pretty much is intact. All three routes (I-44/U.S. 66 and S.H. 33) are signed at this location. Bellaire Village, which includes the Pagoda Chinese restaurant, is located on the northeast corner, while the Camelot Inn is located on the northwest corner. A shopping center, which includes Eckerd Drug, Borden's Cafeteria and TG&Y, among other stores, is located on the southeast corner. Photo taken August 1982.
