New traffic signals were installed at Seventh Street and Southwest Boulevard in the 1990s, with the configuration remaining unchanged from the previous system. The street sign on the signal's mast arm shows that Southwest Boulevard is to the south and Lawton Avenue to the north. In the background are I-244, U.S. 64 and S.H. 51, which travel the west leg of the Inner Dispersal Loop. To the south of this intersection is the Southwest Interchange of the Inner Dispersal Loop, at which point U.S. 64 and S.H. 51 depart to the east, and U.S. 75 joins I-244 to travel south.
