81st Street and Lewis Avenue is the only intersection in Tulsa to feature two types of left-turn signals. The Lewis Avenue signals now are restricted, so motorists only can turn left on a green arrow, while those on 81st Street have the "yield" design. The Lewis Avenue signals had the "yield" option until they became restricted in October 1990. The intersection was modified in 1987 as part of the Riverside Drive project between 61st and 81st streets. Photo taken November 1990.
