The 11th Street and Utica Avenue intersection underwent a traffic signal conversion in 1991, which made the intersection a first for Tulsa by having only one signal for through traffic instead of two at an improved intersection. The second set of lights is the left-turn signal. Traffic continues to flow well at the intersection, which had its central portion and Utica Avenue approaches resurfaced in 1991. Businesses remain essentially the same from 1984 except that The Pancake Place Restaurant has been demolished. In the background is downtown Tulsa. Photo taken May 19,1993.
