This could be one of Sheridan Road's quietest intersections. It has its share of traffic volumes, but it clears quickly without much delay. The intersection is four lanes with left-turn lanes on each approach. As motorists travel south of this intersection, traffic increases and is quite heavy until at least 81st Street, at which point it slowly decreases. In the distant background is the hill at 63rd Street, which is about five miles south of this intersection. Service Merchandise is located on the west side of Sheridan Road near 17th Street.
