Traffic flow improved at 11th Street and Lewis Avenue following a traffic signal conversion in October 1984. The intersection received the first part of its conversion when the right-turn arrows on Lewis Avenue were deleted in the fall of 1982. The conversion was completed two years later and included new signals, poles and mast arms, plus pedestrian lights. The no-left-turn signs remain on Lewis Avenue. Downtown Tulsa is visible in the distance. Photo taken July 1985.
