Sixth Street reopened between Boulder and Cheyenne avenues in August 1984, and all work in the area is complete. Looking east from Denver Avenue, the new Oneok Tower can be seen at left, and the new parking garage is visible at right. To the right of the Oneok Tower is the Fourth National Bank Building, which houses the Summit Club on the top floors. The Petroleum Club Building is on the right. Highway signs directing motorists to the city's expressway system have been installed throughout downtown, including a set on the southwest corner of Sixth Street and Cheyenne Avenue.
