This intersection was the last to receive a new signal system in the left-turn signal conversion project that began in the spring of 1981. The conversion, which was made in April 1985, included new poles, mast arms and signals. However, the signal configuration was unchanged, as Mingo Road did not receive left-turn signals. Motorists in the westbound right-through lane have an option of going straight or turning right, as the lane ends west of Mingo Road due to Pine Street being two lanes in the area. A Gulf station is on the southwest corner, while Kerr McGee is on the northeast corner. Photograph taken May 1986.
