The 21st Street and 129th East Avenue intersection is among the busiest on 129th East Avenue, as congestion often plagues the intersection. Some water line work is under way at the intersection (as evidenced by the pipes in the foreground), but that is the only work funded at this time, as no widening projects are scheduled. The Plaza 3 Theater is located on the northeast corner. One mile east of this intersection is the abandoned Eastland Mall, which was partially built but not finished. Photograph taken July 1984.
