The 11th Street and Mingo Road intersection received several improvements in 2008-2009, including left-turn signals on 11th Street, as part of a street rehabilitation project. Eleventh Street was rehabilitated between Mingo and Garnett roads (excluding the U.S. 169 interchange area), which included rebuilding the curbs and medians, building sidewalks and resurfacing the street. New traffic signals were installed on 11th Street at Mingo Road and 101st East Avenue, which included left-turn signals on 11th Street at both locations. Right-turn arrows were installed for southbound traffic on Mingo Road. An additional improvement was made in the mid 2000s with the redecking of the Mingo Creek bridges. Photograph taken July 2009.
