An "All Traffic" sign, right, signals the end of the Mingo Valley Expressway at 51st Street. Beyond the sign is a grassy field with a couple of two-rut dirt roads, which soon will become the expressway south of 51st Street. The small hill in the distance (with the road in the middle) is the dirt embankment on the south side of the MKT Railroad spur, and new wooden power line towers can be seen in the distance (above the taller embankment) at 61st Street. The utility lines temporarily are being relocated to the south to prevent contact with construction equipment when the 61st Street bridge is built. Photograph taken July 5, 1986.
