The 51st Street and Mingo Road widening project is complete, and traffic jams have become history at the intersection. This view, looking west from the southbound Mingo Valley Expressway bridge, shows 51st Street as a five-lane street between the Mingo Valley Expreesway and near 94th East Avenue, at which point the street narrows to two lanes for the remainder of the distance to Memorial Drive.
