Construction on the new Mingo Road bridge south of 51st Street is nearing the halfway point, as the east half of the bridge is complete, and work is under way on hauling in dirt for the approaches. The west half of the bridge will not be rebuilt until traffic is switched to the new northbound lanes sometime in 1990. The temporary traffic signal has been installed. This signal replaces the pole system installed in 1985. Photograph taken December 23, 1989.
