Traffic on Garnett Road passes through the new 41st Street intersection during a.m. rush hour in this view looking south. Most of the traffic is in the left lane because the street is two lanes either side of the intersection. The intersection, which was funded by the 1983 bond issue, was widened to four lanes with left- and right-turn lanes on each approach. The project included widening 41st Street to four lanes with a left-turn median between Garnett Road and the Mingo Valley Expressway. Photograph taken June 1987.
