Workers put finishing touches on the newly-poured northbound right-turn lane at 31st Street and Memorial Drive. Concrete still needs to be poured around a storm sewer inlet, which will complete paving on the lane. The small vertical reinforcing rods will serve as a base for the curb. Northbound traffic on Memorial Drive is narrowed to one lane at the intersection, which is creating some traffic jams. This photograph was taken September 27, 1985.
