Workers install the new northbound left-turn signal at 21st Street and 129th East Avenue, which indicates that traffic flow soon will be normal at this intersection. The southbound left-turn signal soon will be installed, which will allow the intersection to have left-turn signals for all four directions. The north approach recently was completed, while the south approach was completed earlier in the fall. Each direction has four lanes with left- and right-turn lanes. The dark portion between the concrete sections is the asphalt intersection, which was built as part of the 21st Street widening project between Garnett Road and 129th East Avenue. This photograph was taken December 11, 1987.
