The Arctic blast is long gone, and work has resumed on the Admiral Place utility bridge over I-44. The pier and both abutment walls are complete, and holes are in place in the concrete walls to allow utility lines to pass through for traveling across the bridge. Girders soon should be erected on the bridge. I-44 traffic remains one lane each way on the eastbound lanes. Photograph taken April 1, 1989.
