Arrival of Col. Charles Lindbergh in Tulsa on September 30, 1927 at approximately 2:06 pm. Duncan McIntyre is pictured under the wing, behind the strut. Lindbergh was scheduled to arrive at 2:00 pm. Flying around Tulsa twice before landing resulted in the additional 6 minutes. Lindbergh, flying The Spirit of St. Louis, was greeted by approximately 2,500 spectators at McIntyre Airport.
