Portrait of James Monroe (J.M.) Hall, the "Father of Tulsa." J.M. was the brother of H.C. Hall, both of whom were contractors with the Frisco Railroad, in charge of payroll and commodities. They laid out Tulsa and were instrumental in its founding and early development.
