Felix Whitman Family, 1891. The Whitmans came to Dawson, Indian territory, and moved to Broken Arrow, Indian territory in 1905. Felix Whitman, wife, Julia (sister to Jon & Will H. Smith), daughters Aletha & Grace, son Addley, and later daughters, Rella & Homa. A farmer, Whitman moved to Dawson, Indian Territory from Sedan, Kansas, and operated a coal strip mine for John & Will H. Smith ("Smith Brothers Coal Company").
